Cancun baby!!

We were so blessed to go to Cancun, Mexico for our one year anniversary. We spent 8 days at the resort and had a wonderful time. Actually, it was a blast! As you can see, we were able to go snorkeling AND parasailing. Not to mention, we went to several different beaches throughout the week. Beautiful, beautiful beaches and different shades of blue water.

The landscaping around the resort that we were at was really well done. The flowers, as you can see, are big and gorgeous. Palm trees and big skies helped create sunset shots that were priceless.

We had great weather every single day and we were able to get a tan even with sunscreen on and plenty of shade. Now that's hot! The humidity was high but TN has helped us adapt to that so we didn't mind.

There were lots of us in the water but instead of scaring the fish, we baited them with pieces of food, kinda looked like small dog food pieces and they swarmed us. It was a great experience, apart from the big waves making Zach and I nauseated. :(

We were sitting on a bench, basically, without any seatbelts. It was exhilerating and a fun but when the wind would shift enough, we'd tip slightly and you better believe we were hanging on for dear life! What an incredible view from up there, too bad we didn't take our camera up there

A Week With Hope

My dear friend Katrina recently had her second child and although the Lord was wonderful in helping her have a natural birth (since Hope was a C-section), problems arose once beautiful little Maddie arrived in the world. Oh but Maddie is perfect and healthy, it's Katrina I'm referring to. She wasn't properly supported by the nurse as she made her way from the bathroom to her bed and when she fainted, she knocked her front teeth out on the floor! I know, can you believe that happened? Terrible! Along with that Katrina developed mastitis. With all that happening, Katrina needed to rest and take care of her newborn baby. That's where I came in. Hope and I were playmates from Monday morning until

Thursday evening. We had lots of fun and it was a really good learning experience for me. It was a glimpse of what it would be like to be a mommy and if I must say, it was a FUN but TIRING week. Phew! I was thrilled to be a blessing to Joe and Katrina though and mommy is doing Much better, Thank you GOD!
